Apple iPhone 12 Pro scored 128 points under DXOMARK Camera, which is four points higher than last year’s iPhone 11 Pro Max. It ranks among the top five in our rankings and replaced it as the best Apple phone in this database. The telephoto lens of the iPhone 12 Pro can produce good picture quality at a close zoom distance, but if the lens is further zoomed back, the details will be slightly worse, but the effect is still better than that of the iPhone 11 Pro Max. At the other end of the zoom, the phone’s ultra-wide-angle camera can take good image effects, but the details and corner sharpness are insufficient, and there is still room for improvement.

The iPhone 12 Pro is not the top model in Apple’s smartphone lineup in 2020, but it is still at the top of our rankings and is currently the best iPhone in our database. The overall performance of its photos is quite solid, and in many aspects are slightly better than last year’s iPhone 11 Pro Max flagship.
