As Apple’s annual “masterpiece”, the new iPhone has attracted a lot of attention every year. Although there are still almost 10 months from the official release of the next-generation iPhone series, there have been reports on the iPhone 13 series on the Internet. This time it is about the screen information of this series of mobile phones.
According to the news, there will be still 4 models for the iPhone 13 series, and the model names have followed the name of the iPhone 12 series, namely iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. According to the news, these four mobile phones are equipped with a 5.4-inch, 6.1-inch, 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screen respectively. The refresh rate of the first two phones is 60Hz, and the refresh rate of the latter two screens is as high as 120Hz.
In addition, the news revealed that the iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13 with lower positioning will adopt LTPS panels. The two models with higher positioning will come with LTPO panels. LTPS (LowTemperature Poly-silicon) is a new generation of thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) manufacturing process. The biggest difference from traditional amorphous silicon displays is that LTPS owns advantages such as faster response speed, high brightness, high resolution and low power consumption.
LTPO (Low Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) is a combination of features in both LTPS (common in small and medium-sized OLED panels) and IGZO (advanced than LTPS, but there are still many problems, usually being used in large-sized OLED panels). Which demonstrate the faster response speed and lower power consumption.
