Earlier this week, tipster Ice Universe claimed that the vanilla Galaxy Note 20 will come with a Full HD+ display featuring a 60Hz refresh rate. The tipster has now shared some specs of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, which is expected to debut alongside the Note 20 on August 5.
According to Ice Universe, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will feature a Snapdragon 865+ chipset in select markets. However, the existence of the Snapdragon 865+ chipset hasn’ t been confirmed yet. In fact, Meizu CMO Wan Zhiqiang had claimed in April this year that there isn’t going to be a Snapdragon 865+ this year. If the Snapdragon 865+ does exist, it will likely offer slightly better benchmark performance compared to the Snapdragon 865.
The tipster also says that the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will have a curved LTPO display with Quad HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and slimmer bezels than previous Samsung flagships. Unlike the Galaxy S20 series phones, the Note 20 Ultra will allow users to enable 120Hz at Quad HD+ resolution. The phone’s display is also said to have steeper curves on the edges, similar to the Galaxy Note 10+.
While the rest of the phone’s specs haven’t surfaced yet, the tipster suggests it will offer a few new camera features, as well as an improved S Pen.
